Modeling-Making, Boston, and Sandwiches…
September 8-15:
My homework for my election class was to watch the big debate on Tuesday evening. So, Millie, Livia, Kaz, and I had a debate watch party. We made cookies and had a nice viewing party.
Most of my week was just spent working on homework for class, developing designs for new jewelry pieces, making models, and learning a new 3D modeling program to help with creating digital models for jewelry pieces. It’s a difficult program to use, but I’m hoping it will start to get easier.
On Friday after class, I headed to Boston for the evening. I met up with my friend Sophia who goes to MIT. We got ready and headed over to a private viewing of a grad student gallery opening. It was working on architecture in Taiwan. Afterward, we grabbed some dinner at Fenway Park before going to The House of Blues for a concert. We saw Front Bottoms and it was a great concert. The walk back to Sophia’s place was lovely in the evening.
Saturday morning we grabbed brunch together at a cafe before I headed back to Providence. When I got back home, I worked on my 3D modeling. Millie came over for dinner and we made turkey sandwiches and watched some TV. It was a lovely evening.
Sunday morning Millie, Livia, and I met up for a walk around town to check out some of our favorite places we haven’t been back to yet this school year. Our first stop was our favorite coffee shop before doing some window shopping at the antique stores around town. The weather was so beautiful and perfect for an afternoon walk.
Hope you have a good week!
Love, Sophia
