Point Betsie Lighthouse, Quilts, and The Beach

July 20-29

On Saturday I drove up north to Frankfort and met my mom, Will, Calvin, and Jacob at the Pointe Bestie Lighthouse. I’ve been staying there for the past couple of years. It’s always so nice being up in northern Michigan. Sunday we went into town and went to a greenhouse and antique store. We got lunch at a little sandwich shop and then went back to the lighthouse.

On Monday my friend Sophia came over and we hung out at the beach. The weather was gorgeous and the water was refreshing. On Tuesday I stopped by the Oliver Art Center in town to look at the member's show that was up before heading back home. It was a nice little trip with family.

On Wednesday I grabbed some coffee with my friend Emma and then did some random errands around home. The rest of the family was still up north so Jacob and I hung out and made dinner together each day.

Friday I went to the Lighthouse Guild Quilt show at the church down the road. There were so many beautiful quilts that gave me new ideas for future projects. I spent the rest of the day sewing and working on some projects. In the evening I went to Charlie’s warehouse and checked out what he was doing over there. It’s super cool seeing all of his work come together.

Saturday evening I went to Olyvia’s house for her mom’s birthday party. We played lots of card games.

I went to church on Sunday with my mom. In the afternoon Jacob, Emma, and I went to a jewelry supply sale and flea market downtown Grand Haven. It was such a hot day, but it was nice to get out with some friends.

Hope you have a good week!
