Miniature Museum, Antiquing, and Hiking

May 27 - June 5

It has been a relaxing past week or so. I have spent a lot of time with family and friends, getting adjusted to living back in Michigan.

I visited the Midwest Miniature Museum which is just down the street from our new house. It had so many cool things to see!

On Thursday I took William to see the movie IF. It was about returning imaginary friends back to their children after they had grown up. Super cute and Will really liked it.

I have also been helping Charlie with painting his house and getting it ready for renters. He is always working on the house. We had lunch together and stopped at an antique store that I had never been to before. It was such a cool place!

I try to visit my grandma each day and spend some time with her. I’ve also been exploring the woods behind the house and walking the trails. It’s so pretty in the woods.

Sunday we got the pool up and running and had our first pool day! It was so beautiful outside and just perfect weather. I can’t wait for more days like that.

On Monday I went to Grand Rapids to spend the day with my childhood best friend, Kaelee. We did some shopping for her new apartment and grabbed some lunch together. In the evening I had dinner with my Uncle Kevin and Aunt Michelle and caught up with them.

Tuesday was appointment day. So I went to the dentist and eye doctor with Charlie and Jacob. After dinner, I went to listen to Calvin’s piano recital. He did a great job. I then visited with my Grandma and then ended the evening by walking along the beach with my friend Emma.

Now I am babysitting for a family with two little girls. We painted, made a fort, played with dolls, and listened to Disney music. Pretty good night I would say.

It’s good to be back in Michigan and I’m enjoying the nice weather!
