Sun, Hammocking, and The Pool

June 6-12

Another slow week at home just spending time with family. The pool is officially up and running so I’ve been spending time on the hammock next to the pool.

Calvin and I have also been doing a lot of crafts and art projects. I taught him how to make pot holders on a loom and we started designing our puppets.

On Saturday my mom, Jacob, and I went to an estate sale in the neighborhood and then hit up some other second-hand stores.  I went out with my friend Emma in the evening and we tried out a new restaurant called the Unicorn Tavern. It was super good!

Sunday I went to Joanns with Calvin to get all of our puppet supplies and start on that. We’ve been picking away at puppet-making each morning because the design we settled on has so many parts.

Monday night I met up with Emma, Olyvia, and Amber for some appetizers and drinks at the Unicorn Tavern. It was nice to catch up with all of them. A few summers ago we all worked at The Village Baker together.

Tuesday I worked on the puppets with Calvin and then went to spend some time with my grandma. Afterward, I played some tennis with Olyvia and then went for a drive in the evening with Jacob.

Today I am hanging out in my favorite cafe just down the street from my house and then meeting up with Emma and Olyvia to read in the sun. The weather has been so gorgeous lately so I am trying to enjoy that as much as I can.

Hope you have a good week!
