Crafts, Coffee, and Puppets
June 13-17
Thursday I started sewing a tapestry. I found a standing embroidery hoop at the thrift store and thought it would be perfect to bring places to work on. On Thursday I went to visit my grandma and had a craft day and worked on that.
Friday I went to coffee with William and then we went to a rummage sale at the church down the street from our house. I found some beautiful vintage linens to sew into a dress for summer. Later in the evening, I went to babysit the two little girls I’ve been watching. We painted, played with perler beads, and played with babies. After work, I met up with Emma to go for a drive around town.
Saturday morning I stopped by an art sale. It was a local painter just a few blocks away from her house selling some of her paintings. It was so cool to see her studio set up in her garage and all the pieces she has been working on. In the evening Emma, Olyvia, and I went out for drinks a the brewery down the street.
Sunday I went to church with my mom and Calvin and then headed to visit grandma for the afternoon. Later in the afternoon, my grandpa and Catherine came over for some cake and ice cream for Father’s Day. Calvin and I worked on our puppets some more and almost have all the pieces done to start assembling them.
Today I am working in my favorite cafe for a bit before enjoying the nice weather outside!
Hope you have a good week!
